Architecture Archives
My work at Carnegie Mellon University’s Architecture Archives included processing new and legacy collections, preparing finding aids, and supporting teaching, research, and exhibitions.
Collection processing
At Carnegie Mellon University’s Architecture Archives, I researched and processed new and legacy collections. I regularly handled rare and delicate blueprints, sketches, renderings, working drawings, specifications, contracts, correspondence, and photographic prints.
Finding aids and documentation
I collaborated remotely and in person to produce a comprehensive finding aid in ArchivesSpace. I also developed processes, workflows, and documentation to help future student assistants migrate legacy finding-aid information.
Research access and exhibitions
I shared collection material with classes and individual researchers and created an exhibit related to Pittsburgh’s Urban Renewal Authority and the history of Negro League Baseball in the city. The December 2025 exhibit featured Edward B. Lee sketches and site photographs of Greenlee Field, home of the Pittsburgh Crawfords.

Related experience
In May 2025, I presented “Mr. Cornelia Brierly, Expanding Representation and Context in the Architecture Archives at CMU” at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
